So, I am going through child sexual trauma healing path with a therapist weekly and still grieving the death of my oldest daughter , who was 34 when she passed August 16th, 2023. I cant see the future anymore. Guess I'm hiding out more than anything, just sitting around in my bathrobe most days emptying Kleenex boxes.
Guess my sexual orientation doesn't matter a bit right now except that if I'm honest with myself I don't even think I like men. I've rarely known a man that didn't hurt me. My husband is like marble without being cool. Beautiful and still, but without a trace of warmth. When it comes down to it, I'm not even sure what love really is.
I saw your post on here and I feel for you, I am sorry for your loss as I know how it feels. Being desolate is a lonely feeling, still trying to figure out who to share your love with along with trying to fill that void of someone who you loss. Right now you probably feel lost but trying to find your way back to some normalcy you feel as a challenge, but I want to tell you not to give up hope. Just remember that you have been knocked down and the only way you can go is up, also remember this that you are going to fulfill a destiny that has been planned out for you. "You are unsinkable" don't forget it!! I can offer you my friendship and my experiences. In due time everything will come to focus and you will be set on the right path. Don't give up!! you still have a future to live for!
