I just got in from an evening walk with my snowshoes.
We have a lot of snow for around here,
I know it's Minnesota but we have 30 inches in the woods in my back yard
Absolutely beautiful , the quietness is deafining? Very cool...

Last night we got around a foot of snow,
and around here the day after the storm
we typically get that wonderful blue sky and the clear night

Than the sun goes down and the sky pops! STARS, everywhere!
so it's nice and clear tonight, I'm glad I went out, 13 and clear,
Great star watching,

It seems that the older I get the smaller the things are that catch my eye,
Most pleasing and surprising,
Really trying to take a moment to notice and enjoy

JC you make me smile. I think back to when you used your pain patch as a coaster and many other funnies. Just cuz you are the gal in the fuzzy slippers and the big mug of coffee.

Misplacing things so darn frustrating. Spend so much time looking I have finally decided to stop. Life is too short. I know nothing can walk away and it will eventually turn up. I lost half of a half of sandwich yesterday. Finally I decided I must have eaten it and just forgot. Later in the day when I opened the refrigerator there was my half of half wrapped in my napkin.
Nice snack, actually dinner.

Seriously happy the electronics survived the rain. I have a iPad and it has a heavy fake leather like cover and it might survive. My iPhone is Lifelock and it is guaranteed to survive liquid. For me that is good because I would be one to leave either on the deck or front porch and have in fact done so. First place I look when I can't find phone unless it is really cold.

Seek I saw your feet. No sandals for you. In fact no shoes for you. This is not good. I hope you are finding some entertainment in bed. Do you need help with the political prisoner and any other basement issue? What sort of gear should we bring? Bio Hazard Suits? I will most certainly be more than happy to whip up some magical brownies and some sort of lethal punch. Perhaps our sleek lioness will purr and swish (is that a word) her tail for you. When Tod gets finished with the PP we can feed him to the cat. JC and dude will just lay by your side and enjoy the show. Mike you want in on this? Do you want to leave all that beautiful snow for the land of oz?

Michael you really do make the snow sound magical. I can remember it that way when I was young. I am afraid the south has spoiled me. I have a friend who lives in Bird Island, Mn. and she and husband are in Florida this week. She has counted the days for this. It is so cold there her husband and son have a little house on the lake to ice fish??? Weird.

Seriously you must take care of you buddy. Sounds like you are doing that with the walks and such.

Oh my Hippy, hippy chick, you had me laughing out at 12:32am! "Swish".....hmmm, better than twerking my tail!!!! Seek does love my tail rides, and my 'meow'omones are excellent so I'm ready to take out our dear Seek anytime. I remember JC telling that story of her Fentanyl coasters!! Priceless.

What would we do without each other?

I'm sorry I'm not regular lately, ( shit! Sounds like : as in regular bowel movement! )... Ha ha!

However! My friends, as the Song goes...." You are always on my mind "

My life is just too ridiculous to write about at the moment. Like some stupid " sit-com". Each day I wake up, sorry, I wake up during the night, then during the day, all over the 24 hour period.... I take sleep when it seems to be on offer ....

The Possum disaster is still playing out! Been in touch with local Council, to whom we pay enormous land and town rates! Sorry, Mrs, can't help, protected Species! OK, my DH had a good idea, next one we catch, we should deliver to front of Town Hall, see if they would like one in their Office? DH has caught 5 so far. The cage is 3ft long x 1 1/2 ft high rectangular . The bloody possum we caught the first night was so big, I don't know how it even got trapped! We couldn't believe that the trap door closed, it was such a tight fit! It was hissing and screaming, clawing! I was freaking out at the sight of it! At least it had enjoyed the apple we had used as bait to lure it into the cage! DH covered the cage with a tarpe and with leather gloves on had to climb down a ladder from the roof with said Possum to take it to the end of our drive way. At this point, we discussed with neighbours what to do, all agreed that they were having problems, suddenly seems possum population is out if control in built up areas.... Next door neighbour was going to the Coast, ten minutes from our house. Lots of beautiful trees and bush on the way, he volunteered to put the possum where it should be, in the bush!
Risking a fine from Council, we all agreed to back him as all residents are having problems, but I'm the only one so far to have damage inside the house, others have damage outside .
The next Possum was a bit smaller, similar scenario. Mean time, I'm dealing with Insurance Company, mess, stink, pain, all other crap I've already written about.

Then no Hot Water! When the Electrician came and sorted that out, he said he had never seen any thing like what he found. If we didn't have "electricity safety switches", of which we have 3 in circuit breakers in different areas of the house, he said the house would have burnt down. The ( now referred to as Fucking Possums ), have chewed though the plastic coating on the electric wiring in our out door room, leaving only one wire, a red one, which was explained to me that the Fucking possum would be getting a slight shock from, so it would leave the plastic coating on that one alone ! Also pissing on the wires! As our hot water service is one that only turns on when the "hot" tap is turned on, when DD went to take a shower it shorted the safety switch due to fucking possum piss on the exposed wiring!
So, the F.....Possum had taken up residence in the wall of the out door room! Now, we don't know if this is the F,,, Possum that did the damage inside the house or if it's a new one ? Or one of a family who think they live here? But so far at least a few of their "mates" have been evicted! So I hope they are getting the message and they would just Fuck off!

Oh! But no! They are Animals! Here I am a fully paid up member of the local RSPCA ( registered Animal lover rights group ) and I do love Animals, but this is beyond, this is dangerous to my health. To my Dog's health! The size of these Possums, they could easily attack and injure if not kill my dogs. My dogs are little. F.... Possums carry diseases that could kill my dogs also!

My dogs are acting strange. Won't eat, hardly drinking. I rang the Vet, he says, the dogs are scared and to get exterminators in regardless of the law. He has had so many calls about the area I live, along the river.

I rang a Company yesterday, they are busy until the 16 th of March! I will try some where again today.

All this stress and my pain flare......

We don't have fruit trees, or rubbish, nothing that would attract the mongrells!

Last year, I remember watching a mother and baby possum on my front deck, climb, baby on back, thinking, how cute, how clever, so balanced with challenge of the climb.......yes, they are cute when little and doing cute things! But, dear Lord, give me strength here. I'm burnt out! Exhausted. Sleep deprived. Pain flare! Trapped at home......I'd been doing pretty dam we'll considering the challenges been sent me.....

Pass me a fentanyl coaster please? Some Wax too? Oh and I will just drop my pants and stick out my tongue! That should help! Now I'm laughing again! Thanks "friends" sincerely!

Possum Man, thought he had them gone, three nights, none in cage.

This morning, stench out on front deck where my day bed is...... Builder is looking now, seems to think, the Critters have moved to front of house! Fucking upgrade! They are going to lift up decking!

Then they are going to put chicken wire all around the edge of the bottom of the decking, it can't be seen from standing position, but a small space where the mongrels could crawl through is there and needs to be blocked!

Five years we have lived here, I just don't understand how we get this problem now?

I will keep you updated on what the builders find.

I'm taking Valium. My nerves are shot! The weather temp is dropping fast suddenly, WOW, can I feel that!

I'm glad for my friends on DS getting a hint of warmth coming your way!
