Let me be Me Community Group
A support group for those of us that need a safe place to share what ails us. Or what doesn't! This group is your group so you can be the person you really are, no need to pretend, no need to create some successful cyber image. Whether sharing our trials and tribulations, or our success's in life. Whether in sadness and needing comfort and support, or just...

Also there is no place like home and home is here.
" Bogboard".. ha ha..
Well..it does get kinda bogged down sometimes..:-) :-)
I meant to be saying here..and..I really shouldn't try to mean to say anything in the mornings..
I love my attachments from DS..
I just can't take on any more.
I find myself stretched to thin.
Anyone get what I mean?
Hugs..jc
I just can't keep up. When it's "time" that I could possibly communicate, it is the same time my DH gets home from work.....I mean, chat, like I would like to. I cut my friends that I don't hear from because I invest in trying to follow each person's journey, it is exhausting. I like to genuinely know what is up to date. I can't even do it in real life, little lone the big board! I've admired your ability to keep up with so many. You have a great wit and brilliant communication skills, people are drawn to you. But yes, you need to monitor your energy for you and family.
I have to stay removed from the big board, it really drains me trying to write and express myself in a manner that doesn't get misinterpreted .......the new people need and should be there, it is a cycle. I spend so much energy on trying to get through each day and night in the real world, I'm not capable of keeping track.
I have admired those that seems to. But over the years, I have noticed people branch out to other groups. There is NO room like this one though. I sometimes look at other boards and rooms where I think I might fit in. But I really like a small gathering in real life too. So I always end up coming back here, where I really do feel like I fit in. I'd love to help more if I could afford the energy. I simply can't.
I often feel selfish when I post because I may have been quiet for awhile and feel like I'm getting more than I can give at times. LMBM really does LMBM.
Jan, you are weary from giving, but I think it's just in your nature to continue, a trait, like I said, admired. But, yes, your family and you need you too.
I'm not saying I or others don't have this in our nature. You are very present with an ability to keep track ....so Girl, those Meds are not doing your cognitive skills in! Put your Bum on the sofa in the basement awhile, kick back....... Just. Be you......I think you will sit and relax for awhile, but then you will notice someone in need and be present.....it's your nature. Take care, give to. Yourself too. You deserve you, peaceful.
I drop in and out due to my nature.........can't help it. But my intentions are always there.......
Relax and enjoy life and whatever brings you joy!
( that was a lot for you to type, Shoes..than you)
Hugs
Takes alot of energy being someone for everyone.... and "ditto"..... Sweetness, think our family have summed it up perfectly, invest energy in You and the family, the world will keep spinning (I hope)........
Your ramblin's are pretty cool, going through the same emotions.......... Hmmmmm...
Just keep Sparklin Magical Lady..... Love ya bunches x
Jan, you got me once morning meds were working! Also it is something I think about. I feel less than ...... Because I can't be that person. Me @ 40 normal person no pain that was relentless....well I might have tried, but still not gifted with your easy style of giving consisantly!
Now Steva when are we all coming to your place? ;)
Jan, your heart is so generous and caring, I'm not sure that I would ever want to know how I could get along without you!.......but that said, please, please take the time needed to take care of you first. I'd like to spend more time here in this room and/or DS, but when it's a hurtin day I'm not doing anyone any favors by coming in all sulky or snarky! Enjoy your quiet time, family time, whatever and if you have the energy come by and visit DS.
I know many folks on DS love you (NOT as much as me), you are cared about, and, well......just adored!! But I think everyone would be in agreement that we'd still love you if you needed a day off of DS. And as far as being overloaded by new friend requests or what not. Don't feel obligated to accept them all. I don't.....
I'm with Lisa, I'd rather keep the quality friends and weed out the ones that I've grown apart from. Think of all the new folks that come in.....liking what you have to say, yada yada. Well some weeks or months down the road you realize you haven't touched base with that person in awhile and they really haven't responded to hugs, messages or whatever. I figure they moved on to another DS board or just got in with a different group of friends and really don't have the time to keep up with me either!! I don't stress about it, they aren't stressing about it either.
I think I've typed a whole bunch of gibberish but I hope maybe you got something out of it. Love you bunches!
