Im just conflicted

What has the doctors told you? Do they know the severity of your case? Because I know this condition can be mild as well as severe.

I can, however, understand your concerns. I have MS, and I pray everyday that I don't end up in a wheelchair. The symptoms I do have are enough of a worry in and of themselves. But my wife is wonderful and I thank God for her everyday. Anyway, keep us updated. I wish you all the best.

I am sure that if you do fall in love with this diease that who it is that loves you won't care if you are sick all they want is for you to be happy. I think you should chance it and start dating because everyone wants to be loved and love someone back. If you find the one it won't matter if you are sick they will be their for you no matter what you are going thru and you will want that when it comes down to it and you get more sick then ever. You need love just like everyone else has or wants.

I am in a similar situation. I was thinking of an online g/f. Are you well enough to date? I am not well enough to go out to restaurants and clubs. I guess I need more information. Sorry I wasn't of much help.

I skimmed through some of the other postings and they have a point. I have found in the past that women didn't want a sickly women and wanted someone healthy. I am less functional now and all alone. If at all you are able to date maybe there is a site for disabled lesbians in your area where you could meet other disabled lesbians. If you join a support group or volunteer at a Lesbian Center maybe you could meet someone there. Hope this is of help. I wish you the best.

I say don't let your illness define you or stop you from finding love and happiness. I know what it is like to be sick and to have a slew of problems but I don't let it stop me. I go for what I want in life and I beat odds everyday and so can you. People don't always want what you think they do. All the things that you claim you can't give them don't compare to what I just saw in you.

A person that is realistic and that has a kind heart. A person that cares about other people's happiness as well as her own. Now that is my kind of woman. Don't give up hope and don't stop being who you are. You are worth more than you think you are.

my partner of 10 yrs was disabled,,,, and I didnt walk, i loved her with all my heart,,,, I carry a part of her with me every day in every way,,,,, i cold have met others without disabilities and been miserable , a disability doesnt make a person less of a person..... if anything it can make the two closer and more understanding and willing to work though things,,,,, i think to even think u r out of the dating realm of a person loving you and having a home together etc is cheating yourself as well as a pre judgement of other lesbain women out there who look deeper then a disability,,,,,,,,,, hugs and i may jump off my soap box now, smile,,,,,,,, please be gentle with yourselves and think beyond the disability,,, it doesnt make you who u are what you show from within does,,,,,, KD
