I will try to make this is brief as possible. I have been with the same woman for 18 years. The first 10 years were great, then things began to change and ultimately our relationship felt more like best friends than lovers. About 2 years I was introduced to someone through a mutual friend. We quickly became friends and over time it developed into an emotional affair. My wife saw some chat conversations between the new friend and I and asked me to leave home. I left and while I was gone my wife and I talked regularly and even continued to have sex. About 3 months after I left she started seeing a guy and hid it from me. Once I found out, she lied and tried to diminish what happened. Basically they saw each other for about a month, slept together about 15 times, and texted each other all day, etc. My wife and I decided to try to reconcile but I cannot get over the fact that she was with a man. She's supposed to be a lesbian - at least that's what she always told me. She says she didn't like him and wasn't attracted to him - yet she carried on like she did. I don't know what to make of this. I feel like I don't know who she is. Any advice?
