Quick Questions ladies, what do you all think about your partner sharing private personal intimate information with a penpal? What if you discovered that your partner has told this penpal that she is not satisfied in the relationship but she swears that she is and wants to be with you?

Why would your partner be so deceptive towards you and tell a penpal that she just isn't physically attracted or romatically attracted to you?

When the partner is confronted she denies it or shuts down. What would you do? Would you try to get her to open up to discuss what her REAL feelings are or do you just ask her to be friends and stick to that and move on with someone more compatible with your needs?

I am having this discussion with a dear friend please be honest!

In all honestly, It might be time to end the relationship. If your partner isn't happy in the relationship now, the longer you stay in the relationship the more miserable you two will be.

perhaps your partner is unsure how she feels. but talking to a neutral party like the pen pal is a good way for her to exppress her feelings to someone who isnt involved in the relationship.if she just out and spoke to you right away you would hurt betrayed and many other negative emotions. but perhaps this is just a passing fleeting moment of feeling something. once she can express those and work through them she can then determine how she really feels before talking to you thus sparing you any necesarry pain. i have no idea if this is what your partner is doing but its a thought to consider

things will not get better. i know. i lived what you just described. i ended the relationship. there was no chance of being friends, i would have been the only one in that friendship, as i was the only one in the relationship. i find that lovers can never be friends, too much water under that bridge.
unfortunately, when i beat my head against that wall i had to stop and say to myself, " that hurts too much"
it's not easy, but you have to move on.
and use this as a learning lesson for the future relationships you will encounter.
