After 2 years being divorced, I’ve finally opened and decided to date last May. The girl I was dating was an old friend from 10 years ago that I recently seen after my friend’s party. It’s started complicated because I know wasn’t really ready, but I also know that I like her a lot. To cut things short, we have been struggling since we started dating because of our past relationships. I’m falling for her despite all our issues and few days ago she decided to end our relationship. I’m broken again and sad. Everything from previous relationships are coming back to me and feeling disheartening with all my relationship failures.

Hello. Thank you. I’m trying my hardest to be okay, but it’s pretty hard to sleep at night. I want to talk to her, and I miss her terribly but I know I’m prolonging my time of healing. I don’t know long I can take this pain and sadness. I’m strong woman, but I felt so beaten.

Writing down your thoughts does allow you to process things.

hello and sorry to hear your having such a hard time getting through this but remember your not alone. A breakup can feel devastating and it hurts a part of you that you really didn't know existed. But time heals and you just need to give your self your mind and heart time to heal journal ling works sometimes when you want to text her just write it down dont send it write in your journal. its helped me in the past. Focus on your strength without her focus on your strengths as a person it seems like you never really healed from the previous relationship so maybe you should take some time for yourself and build you before you can build with someone else

Thank you for reaching out and support. I feel lone and sad from time to time, but much better compared to few weeks. It’s been a month since the break up and we haven’t talked for few weeks now. It’s much easier without any concern with her. I think of her often, but hadn’t reached out. I missed her terribly, but I know it’s better to let go and move on than stay with someone who doesn’t want me. My friends keeps telling that they don’t like her for me. It helps hearing it from my friends who know me for more than 20 years.
