Love is very diverse. It comes to us in many different ways, for many different reasons, through many different people.
Until you are more at one with yourself and grounded in what you need and want in life, you'll probably need to understand a few things.
Oh Yes, you were loved each time you connected with someone. Maybe not to the full extent you wanted,..but it was there to some degree. The love you are preparing for is way down the road. This love is mature, devoted, deep and real but you won't find 'her' until you've learned a few things in life.
As you continue on in this journey you'll want to consider and come to grips that not every woman you meet who makes you laugh and feel good about yourself requires that you love them beyond a good friendship. You must observe, learn, talk, take time, develop a friendship and see how things 'connnect'. Don't be so quick to let your heart go. Look closer at who is in front of you.
The word love is being thrown out and around so much nowaday's, it's significance is almost to the point of being devalued. I can't change that other people say 'I love you' to just about everyone and anyone for any and all situations, but I can control how I use the word Love. I can also control how much I believe the person blurting it out ~ because Actions still have much more significance and value to me than a frivilous, careless voice.
Be cautious and gentle with yourself hon. You have a long, long, interesting adventure before you. You've connected with many people already and no matter how it ended, it was a blessing. Keep moving forward with your eyes open and your heart just a bit more guarded.
