I recently ended a 7 year relationship, and after a few weeks of joy and anger, now the heartbreak is setting in. I am petty jealous of a mutual friend who has taken my ex's side. I think this friend has had a thing for my ex and is glad I am out of the picture. I am really hurt. I think my ex, bless her heart, is totally oblivious to what is going on. Or maybe not. MOVING ON.
I enjoy my solitude, and part of me wonders if that might be it for my love life. But the thought of not ever finding that person that is right for me makes me incredibly sad. I'm trying to just take care of me, and do positive things and not worry about the future.

Yes there is someone out there for you. I truly believe the best is yet to come. Your ex wasn't that person. I read this somewhere "They are our ex's for a reason". Take time to heal and get to know yourself. I agree don't worry about your future. It will all work itself out.
It's so weird to me that when I'm with someone I just want to be alone, and when I'm alone I'm obsessing about whether I'll always be alone. So, that is what I am working on.
