I had a crush on a straight friend until she told her older sister about it. I don't know if the older sister, and co-owner of the property where this "friend" and I live knew I was gay before, but she sure as hell knows now. Now that she has broken a confidence about my having the crush on her, I no longer have that crush on her. My question is: should I drop her as a friend, or not?? She has told her sister almost everything I've ever told her, except for the fact that I'm struggling with an eating disorder for the last 20+ years. I'm leaning towards ending the friendship because I felt like I had to take care of her emotionally every time she hit an emotional crisis--almost every night at the same time for about 2 weeks' time, and I'm finding it very hard to trust her with anything else. She's also said to me that if I were a man, she would be interested in me, so not sure if I'm getting mixed messages here or what. I'm not good at making friends due to a lot of psych issues, please help!!!
