(checks to see if Vanilla is a Taurus).....KIDDING! :)
Maybe some where along the line, you've learned to "do what you were told"? Its possible that you've been a follower much of your life, and not saying there is something wrong with it. Some prefer that role, and some do not.
Your gf friend sounds like she's uncomfortable with it for whatever reason. Just know, without risk, there is little chance to grow and find your "way". Risk often times rewards us with things we might never have attained without it. Nothing in life is easy, or free. Sometimes being vanilla gets stale for you? Maybe not?
One of the things I think is healthy for a relationship is having your differences, and different interests. It gives each of you the space to have some time alone if you will. Not to say you shouldn't have some interests in common but having some different ones gives you things to talk about, time away, and fills your life with things that could end up saving you at times of trouble.
Just a thought....
Well I'm not a taurus lol i'm actually Piscean and I do live in my head quite a bit but most times I'm pretty grounded. I do take risks from time to time but they are only motivated by people I'm in love with...
Now recently I found out the true nature of what it means for my girlfriend to suffer from borderline disorder, I don't know if this is the reason she is pushing me out of my safe, comfy but sometimes a little crazy zone. She's ambitious and she has dated her fair share of powerful men and women. I don't know if this is the reason she might be pushing me otherwise why be with me in the first place?
