I totally understand the crushing blow of a broken heart. There is no worse pain (at least that I have ever experienced).

However, I am too much of a romantic to give up on the notion of love, commitment, etc. I deserve someone who will love me and respect me for all that I am and the woman who comes into my life again someday will certainly be blessed with all that I have to give from my heart.

As long as I have breath in my body, I will never give up on the prospect of a true love!

Although I'm healing from a recent break up, and can no longer count the times in life I've been hurt,..I still truly believe the old saying, "It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all."

The beauty and joy of being in a caring, loving relationship is well worth the risk of being hurt.

part of me feels kind of relived that its over. she wasnt making me happy. and there were alot of question marks hanging over what kind of a future wewould have bcz of things like i would HAVE to move in with her, she wouldnt consider getting a place together, and moving in with me. and she'd never let me make any modifications to the house or buy new stuff. she made that quite clear. but at the same time, she had no reason to hurt me the way she did the day after my birthday.
and i feel quite decieved in terms of her personality. i thought she was nice, straightforward and honest. but she lied to me. so trust will be a future issue for me :(

we're in the relationships we're in for a reason( for the life of me i dont no what that is) and whatever happens happens for a reason... even breakups and heartbreaks... these feeling r hard to deal with but we come out stronger... right now its pretty miserable being alone without that specila someone to share my life and my love with but if i give up on her bfor ive even met her cause im scared for being hurt it'll hurt both of us... im hangin on to that hope that shes out there just waitin for me

The challenge for us to remember is that it was a person who hurt us and broke our trust. Throughout our life, we can make a list of these people called, "Never Trust These People Again." But we can't go out into the world thinking 'everyone' is like the people on our list...... we owe it to ourselves to go out into the world believing people are more like us.

a few years ago i was in a rlx with a woman who treated me like crap, didn't start out that way..but ended up that way for two years.. she took advantage of me emotionally...made me believe that i was a terrible and miserable person.. at the time.. i thought i would just shrivel up and die...but after it ended i found the woman of my dreams...we have true love there is no doubt...i always knew there was something more out there but didn't think i'd ever find it and i did... and later when the dust cleared from the previous rlx i realized that as terrible as that was for me it was a lesson learned, as well as a step in the direction i needed to go.. she opened my eyes to my attraction for women that i had locked away for many years...which led me to my new love...we've been together physically for almost 9 months now and she truly is my soul mate, and makes me so happy... don't give up hope..the right one will come along.. sometimes we just need to take the long way getting there, and pay attention to the lessons learned...took me 46 years to get there...
