I think my subject titled pretty much sums it up. Recently I've been quite active in the dating scene again after getting out of a rather toxic relationship (possessive ex). I have come to the realization that I am attracted to women who are unavailable or difficult to love. Its like I feel more attracted to them because they seem so unattainable. I have been rejecting potential suitors who expressed their affection for me.

I hit it off particularly well with one girl but my interest waned once I knew she likes me and I rejected her there after. I feel rather guilty for having disappointed her. To be quite honest I don't know what I am feeling this way.

I truly want to get out of this vicious cycle as women who are unattainable or difficult who eventually become my lovers make for a very tough relationship. And yet when good women come to me I lose interest. How can i change this mindset? I really want to change this mindset.
