What is too soon for some is just right for others. How long has it been since your last relationship? Have you asked yourselves and each other what moves you to want to move in right now and not tomorrow or next month? What would be your reasons, both of you, individually and together for not moving in together? What have you not told her or wanted to look at yourself that you worry about in moving in together? Would it change the way you feel about her or yourself if you found out in living with each other that it was a mistake?

Again I say what is too soon for some is just right for others. You won't really know until you do and yet if you have any meaningful doubts I wouldn't until you found you found satisfactory answers to those doubts.

The answer to the question is with the two of you. Be kind to each other and yourselves, good luck, be happy, and have fun.

I have to agree with Dulcinea - my ex and I moved in together after a year and we are ex's. My wife and I moved in together after about 2 months and are extremely happy - she was moving, leaving the state and I just couldn't fathom not being together. If both of you feel its right - do it.

With Beasty, I knew that I wanted her in my life 24/7 as soon as possible. She was more leery than I! However, I pleaded, begged and just plain grovelled until she gave in! It wasn't easy at times...but we made it through!

Is there any pressing need to move in together? Can it wait still? Better to be safe than sorry....but then again...who am I to talk?

Everyone gets scared when it comes 2 this, so dont let that hold u bac. And the bottom line is it sounds like ur more worried about the opinions of other ppl.....and I now close by quoting u, "we think we are ready......"

I am scared for the first time in my life over a woman. I want our lives to be perfect.. Or as near perfect as the average human can get to. We have had trouble getting face time lately and it is about to kill me. She is a little less codependant that I am. Thank god because we would be sickly if not. I am very leach like where she likes a little space. When it has been two weeks since we have seen eachother she welcomes my leaching ways more than ever. I never knew opposites truely attracted. I thought it was a myth we seem to balance well though.
I think I found my one and only soulmate.. I'm just scared shitless.

I hate to be the odd one out, but wait a year. Thats my opinion, the honeymoon end too quickly without foundation, then you are stuck with the quick all encompassing anger replacing the quick all encompassing love.

I agree with luciee and must add, have you both fully discussed "why" you are scarred? If so, have you come to conclusions (together) as what can be done to reduce that fear for both of you. Two weeks is a long time to be apart from someone you are considering moving in with and spending a life time with, so I'd say wait a bit longer Sounds like there maybe old baggage for both of you getting in the way. If, try to help each other put that aside before making a life long commitment. Lastly, I hear that you are very committed, thus ask yourself is she also (or almost as) commmitted. If so, what is holding you back. Whatever you deside, I ask you to be "true" and "honest" to and with yourself first and formost and thus you will be able to bring the "right" one into your life.
