When I explain what I'm going through to most people they just tell me its not possible for me to have and still love this girl because it was puppy love and they say it never last. Well here is what I'm going through what seems like I can never heal from.
I started exploring the internet looking for a support group that helped lesbians express themselves and feel like they won't be judge. After a few days of browsing the internet I am along this site and after going through some disscusion I really felt safe. So I started expressing myself and helping people if I could. I meet this one girl that needed help and we started talking. After talking for a couple weeks we each had feeling growing for each other. We talked endless nights about anything. It was amazing we had soo many things in common. Then her dad found out and made her delete all contact. I'm only 20 and honestly I have tried daring again but my heart still loves her and I feel like I couldn't give my whole heart into another relationship. I don't think its fair to date a person and still have feelings for a another person. Am I wrong to do that? Or is it time to move on?

You cannot change this, it is time to move on. But only you can know when that time is right. Dating while mourning a loss seems iffy to me too. So accept that you cared deeply for this person, allow yourself that. I think you are handling it just right.
