ok. sometimes i think i sound like a rambling idiot on this thing but sometimes i let my over busy head get the best of me. Im actually somedays pretty intelligent just cant seem to slow down my head. My girlfriend of only 3 months has just graduated and will be starting new hours in another week. i have always been like the little puppy waiting for her to come visit and many times it doesnt happen and i loose it. her hours are gonna be very difficult for any us time unless she is alot more flexible. i cant go see her because her family is not accepting of our relationship so the ball is in her hand. my main question is how do i be ok with just seeing her once or twice a week for couple hours. im very very needy and am having hard time just being ok with being by myself. i know she loves me and cares for me and she makes me very very happy i just want to freaking relax and dont know how. yikes dont want to medicate myself cause been there done that. need join gym but no money. thanks for listening im not crazy just in love and dont wanna push her away by always being emotional wreck

i think you just need to talk to her about your thoughts. you need support from her and she has to know that you can't stand being away from her. knowing that you love being with her will never push her away. i know how it is to be needy. you need to look at why it's hard being alone and maybe work on yourself so that you can be independent and not codependent. it's easier said then done, i know, but if you try a little each day, you'll get somewhere. communications is key. if she loves you she will hear you out and try to figure something out so that your needs are met.

thanks for your advice. being codependent sucks. i have not let myself care in a long long time cause i know this is how i get. i will talk to her sometimes not easy cause she is my tough girl and not a talker.

You don't need to join a gym to exercise, there's the great outdoors! Look for groups in your area like team in training - it's a great cause (Leukemia and lymphoma society) and it gets people together to do things like train for a marathon or triathlon, adventure race or cycling event. It's exercise, it's social(meets lots of great people) and for such a worthy cause. Or you can look for things to do in the local paper where you can meet new people. I think there are social sites like www.meetup.com that you type in what you're interested in and your area and it will connect you to groups like book clubs, learning to ski or sew or discuss politics - whatever! Find things you like to do and do them, don't be reliant on her for entertainment, but then when you do get to see each other, think off all the things you'll have to talk about!
It's always hard to put yourself out there and try something new, especially on your own, but I guarantee if you take the first step, people will welcome you. Good luck and keep us updated on your journey!

will definately look into some groups. didnt get to talk today she was stressed out and wont talk to me when she is she just texts and makes me little cuckoo but im used to it. ugg. thanks for the advice i will try just gonna be very tough next couple of weeks.
