Be Blessed.
You've been with this gal for 8 months and there have now been four breakups in an eight month period? That's the ultimate red flag.
Have you been actively seeking employment? I saw you are in Canada, not sure if the job market there is as bad as it is here (the US) but hopefully something will come along for you, even if it's working in a fast food joint, it's something to bring in a little bit of cash.
As far as a license, I am assuming you mean a drivers license? Do you know how to drive? If not, maybe a friend can help teach you and you can go and get your license that way. Even if you aren't able to afford to get a car, having it when you can afford it will be a major plus.
The worst thing you can do is rely on others for your daily living needs/expenses. I speak from experience. In my most recent situation, I really had no choice as I was a 24/7 caretaker and couldn't be away for more than a few hours, but years ago I was with a woman who insisted I be a stay at home "wife" and even sabotaged (I found out later) my attempts to get work. She made me become dependent on her and got screwed because of it. NEVER again.
The fact that you are posting here and asking for advice pretty much, I think, tells you what you need to do. Do not listen to your heart in this case, listen to "the rest of you" and let her go and go the non contact route as BerlyG suggests. Once you begin the healing, your confusion will be gone and the obvious will become clear.
Good luck!
