My neurologist said I can try LDN. The nurse called today and said she's calling the perscription in and I'll get it this week. She said the Dr wrote it for 4.5 dosage. She seemed confused when I asked her if I could start at a lower dose. She said LDN IS the low dose. She gave me the pharmacy's number and I called them. They do use the loose powder. They use lactose as the filler. It is the rapid release. All good. I asked about getting a lower dose and she said I'd need the dr to order it. I've heard lots of people say they did better on a lower dose, around 3.0, and I was wondering if I sould titrate up to a dose and just see how I do. Should I take the max amount I can tolerate? Is it ok to start at 4.5, and what should I expect? I'ver heard leg stiffness can be a side effect. Will it go away or is there anything I can do to to lessen it? Like taking a lower dose or building up to the 4.5?
Is it possible to dilute the dosage with water and take a smaller dose? I know it would not be exact, but the nurse may have already called it in. The dr office was closed when i tried to call back after talking to the pharmacist so the 4.5 may already be in the pipe line. Should I just get a new perscription for a lower dose and save the 4.5 for after I've built up a bit? How long did people stay on different doses before moving up, or noticing they should move down?
I know, so many questions. Thanks for any answers, stories, and advice.
I'm really excited to try it. I'm so done with the needles and the interferons. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. But I have anyway.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I take 2 each night, most of t he time, 3.0 MG. My docs think I'm on 4.5 though. Even though I don't often do 4.5, and I get 2-3x the filler, I'm still taking 2 1.5s each night, together with B1 100 MG
I started at 3.0 MG and only did 4.5 for two runs, first time for 38 days and the 2nd time for 14. I've done 4.5 here and there but mostly 3.0
