Thanks nomorera. I don't use LDN but I like to keep informed about it just in case I need to one day. At the moment I'm treating my RA with Minocycline and doing well. It gives me a lot of hope that if the Minocycline ever stops working, I can try out LDN and continue avoiding the harsher drugs.

never heard of minocycline before. Will do some research tonight. Can you use it in conjunction with other drugs? What is it?

There are people on the roadback forum that actually use Minocycline with LDN for RA, apparently they go well together, but so far I'm doing well on the Minocycline alone. It can also be used in conjuction with some of the conventional RA meds but I think it works better when the immune system isn't suppressed by meds.

Okay great, and thanks. It looks like it's a tetracycline which is an anti-biotic I think. I need to do more research, but thanks so much for the info.

Most welcome. It's a low dose anti-biotic used to treat autoimmune diseases really successfully, I just have to remember to always take a probiotic to replace the good bacteria. The website has lots of information and even a Physicians package if you want to show it to your doctor. But that is really great that the LDN is also working, it's wonderful to know we have options that are not biologics.

LDN is what I would call a wonder drug. I recommended a friend's Dad try it out to help his Parkinson's and he's MUCH improved. I would use it before any other med, due to the very low dosages and almost non existent side effects!

I am on LDN 3.5mg and hope to move up to 4.5mg soon. I have only been diagnosed for 1 month and still have my initial exacerbation of facial numbness. I am still hoping the LDN plus the the steroids I have done will help my present numbness. Has anyone had good results with LDN on present exacerbations?
