Has anyone else experienced this? Since it has happened to me I have heard of vague stories of it happening to others. I was not told this could be a side effect of the surgery. During the holidays I was experiencing
stomach discomfort, but I couldn't pin it down to anything specific so I just blamed too many holiday goodies. After the first of the year, even though I was paying close attention to what I was eating, it continued to get worse. After doing online searchs, I couldn't figure it out. Then I saw a commercial for Lactaid. I went to that site, and it was BINGO! Everything I was experiencing. I avoided dairy products for a few days and then tried it again. It all came rushing back within a half hour of eating. I tried Lactaid and it seemed to help at the beginning. I tried a natural product Lact Enz that my doctor suggested. That seemed to help, but now seems ineffective. I am miserable. I only leave the house if I haven't eaten for a couple of hours. Any signs of gas, and I have to return home. Any input would be appreciated.
