Kleptomania Support Group
Kleptomania is an inability to resist impulses of stealing. A person with this disorder is compelled to steal things, generally things of little or no value, such as pens, decorative pins, or wall decorations. They are often unaware of performing the theft until some time later. If you are suffering from kleptomania, join the group and get support.
I have no idea if I do. I don't really steal from stores or anything. When I was little (like in second grade) I would take snacks and stuff from the other kids. I got in trouble so many times I lost count. Then I stopped for a while. But then a couple of years ago, I started again. I keep stealing little usless things like pens, headphones, or little things that catch my attention. When I leave school I must have at least 10 pens in my pocket. I stopped bringing my backpack to school because when I had it on me I would take bigger things because I could hide them easier. I did steal from a store once. It was a little useless laser pointer but I liked it so I put two of them in my pocket. I know it isn't severe, but do I have kleptomania?
I am not to sure as to what actually defines kleptomania, I steal most of the time its small food items from stores ( love food ) any of the physical objects i get usually are too big or are not pocatable.
