This asthma mess is trying to steal my life away....and I am tired of it! I want to control you...I want to be your master...I want you to go away and leave me alone! You won't let me do the things I need to do...nor the things I want to do! It is so unfair...but so is life! I see people everyday...throwing their lives away...ruining their lungs and it makes me so angry. I guess we all just have to make the best of a sad situation...I know there are others in far worse shoes than I am wearing.

I know how you feel right now. i feel like i cant get my life on track with my asthma as well but we are all here for each other now. And we can fight this together

Thanks hopelovesmile...it is good to know there are other people out there...and I am not alone. My family really does not understand...and that makes it even tougher....not that I would ever want "anyone" to have this disease...but it is hard "not to be understood!"

deferentially but we have to hold on tight and keep our heads up. its hard when you have to live with something so sever and not know someone elts that you can talk to about when things get hard. I know with me when ever my breathing gets very bad i land up having seizures because of the loss of air to my brain. and no one in my family relises how bad it really is and what it could mean for my life and I am only a teenager so it makes things even harder

Bless your heart!!! I am lucky to not have the seizures...very lucky. There have been many times that I thought I would not be able to take another breath...it is so scary. I was lucky to not have to suffer much with my asthma during my teenage years...it seemed to be in remission. But for the last 20 years it has came back with a vegence! Not one day passes that I am not wheezing or coughing. I know how it is when no one seems to understand how serious your illness is. I hope you do at least have someone to comfort you during the really tough times. When I was a small child my grandmother used to comfort me...it made me feel so much better. Now...no one makes me feel any better and I have to work on top of it all....some days I don't know if I am going to make it to my car. I wish for you easy breathing...Hugs!

thanks. I dont really have someone to be there for me anymore. I can talk about it with a few but no one can really help me or want to help me. I just wish that I knew what the next day would hold for me. I just learned what can happen when your asthma gets to strong. One of my friends just passed away from a Sever asthma attack and I became very close to the same end as her just a few days ago while at my friends house for the night. I wish it would be so easy not to be scared but sometimes we just need to remember that God is always there and he will take care of everything. So we don't need to have control we need to let him take control for us. Remember anything is possible if we Trust God. He can make us breath better if it is his will

So incredibly sorry you're going through this... If you still are. I just wanted to inform you about something that's really helped me control my asthma significantly in the past few months. It's a cleaning product called Airbiotics that uses probiotics to fight against the bad bacteria, dust mites, or any other allergens that get trapped in our homes. A lot of people are unaware that indoor air is the fourth biggest environmental threat to our health, and asthma attacks are triggered from all of the nasty things that get caught up in our homes. I have been using it in my home and I really have noticed a difference in my air quality and I feel like I breathe better. I know it's a long shot, and that it seems crazy, but it could be something to try if you're still looking for something. Hope this helps! Good luck!
