is trusting in Jehovah. Trusting that, no matter what, He will take care of me. Trusting that He knows my needs before I even ask, and will make sure my needs are met. Leaving all my burdens on Him. I will admit to liking being in control and when I'm not, it's difficult. Many times, I have given my problems over to Jehovah....only to "take them back" at a later time.
I have seen Jehovah work in my life. I have experienced Him taking care of me when I put His kingdom first. I have felt the love of the congregation when I attend meetings.
I really need to put effort in leaning on and trusting in Jehovah, fully and completely, without hesitation, fear, or doubt.
This is my hurdle.......

Yes, me too ! And we all struggle with that.Letting go and letting God is hard for anyone. It is so great that you can see that in yourself ! Many could not.Well done!

Thanks, Lydia! I have conquered smoking, which you think would be harder than trusting.....seems the opposite is true. Smoking has pretty much been a breeze. Trusting Jehovah...not so easy. There are other things I need to work on, but these are the major ones.

This verse came to my mind about trusting God ; I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthing man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. Jer.10:23? Also this one : The conclusion of the matter everything having been heard is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments,For this is the whole obligation of man. Ecc. 12:13 --You see we do not belong to ourselves, God owns us and we where created God to love him and to obey him, and only when we are doing this and fulfilling His purposes for our life can we find true joy. Please look up and study Psalm chapter one, it is the secret to happiness. You know when I live my life my way I always make a mess of it, but when I live the way the Bible and God says my life is happy. It is hard to let God have control of us, a struggle everyday, but oh so worth it. i am proud you gave up smoking, that is extremely hard. You body belongs to Jehovah and I am sure he is happy when you care for it and treat it well, and do not make it unclean with smoke that fills the lungs with black nasty tar. When I went to work in the hospital and seen the nasty stuff that gets drained out of smokers lungs into a jar, I stopped that day.The non smokers lungs had clear fluid in them. The smokers always had trouble when they had to get put to sleep as well, coughing up that stuff after surgery, and trying to breath was hard for them, the non smokers did so much better.

I had wanted to quit smoking for a long time...my recent tonsillectomy was the reason. My doctor told me, in no uncertain terms, I could not smoke after the surgery. I promised him that I wouldn't, and I haven't. I quit on September 22, 2010. :) Thank you for the scriptures! I will be sure to look them up and meditate on them.

Thanks for taking time to hear me out, and to study. This means a lot to me.You really need someone more mature spiritually than I am, but I think we can grow together if we stay in truth.Let me know what you think of those verses.Looking forward to your next post!
