I am married to a recovering porn addict, so I can relate to what you're saying...been there, done that. Yes, I think it is inappropriate if it bothers you....it is also a guy thing. They just don't think with the right head sometimes. If it bothers you...you should talk to him. It took my husband and I about 26 years to finally get everything out in the open on how I feel about it and how he feels about it. Communication is VERT important in a relationship. You need to talk to him and explain how this makes you feel. Now, that our relationship is getting stronger...my husband doesn't have the desire to look at it anymore. I tried doing it with him, but I personally have friends that used to be in the porn industry and I know what REALLY goes on and I can't look at it at all. I also have a cousin that was in the industry and got so messed up on drugs to keep doing it...that now her brain is fried. When you look at the reality of porn...it loses its appeal. This is such a sore subject with me, it makes me physically ill thinking about it and thinking about my partner having watched it in the past. Never mind what we think, its how you feel thats important, if its a problem to you, you need to find a solution.

I don't think it's a guy thing. I think it's more of a lust thing. Remember, we teach others how to treat us. Now might be a good time to establish some boundries if this is something that bothers you.

I am a guy. I admit to watching porn here and there. I am currently single and I will watch it. Do I like it? No way. Do I feel that it is right to do in a relationship? Honestly no. This too is a touchy subject with me. Porn has really gotten in the way of my relationships because I do not want my woman watching it. I too will add that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks....it is how YOU feel about it. Really when it comes down to it...and this is my opinion.....porn is desensitizing, degrating, and so far from "the truth". If I wasn't so insecure and jealous of other men....I am not sure I would still be ok with it. It is your choice to not want it in your relationship and he should respect that. Period.

My bf watches porn and tbh i have just gotten used to it, i don't like it but i know he's not gonna compleatly stop. Tbh i don't think it's a guy thing more of a people in general thing. some people like to watch porn some don't. and there's nothing wrong with not liking it, but i think unless your bf is not paying you enough attention sexually then him watching porn doesn;t mean he doen;t love you or he finds you unattractive. my bf watches porn only if i am not there, and although i don't liek to think of it, he still pays me enough attention sexually so i am not so worried.
