Quantity of donor's egg (prior to retrieval)

Hi, my nurse is reluctant to tell me anything about how my donor is doing (she's on day 10 of her stims today) other than "she's doing great". I ask her how many follicles and her answer is "there doesn't necesarily mean there's an egg inside" and won't give me a number.

Did anyone else get the number of follicles count PRIOR to retrieval?

Had my transfer today. 29 eggs. 20 fertilized. 11 pgd normal (downs and xy test only). 7 girls 4 boys (I wanted a girl). Today we transferred two girl blasts that looked great and will freeze 3-4 boys and 1-2 girls. Will get freeze report tomorrow. Everything went extremely well and RE gave me a 70% chance. Sleeping most of today. Fly home on sat (to nor cal from so cal). We are blessed to have so many frozens and such good blasts. Very happy. I'd love your prayers!

Glad to hear transfer went well! a 70% chance is awesome! Get home and rest! When do you go in for BW to announce your BFP!? Saying prayers for you and your future babies!

You've got my prayers! That's interesting that out of 20 11 were pgd normal, who knew w/ DE it would be so low, but great news you got so many embies! When is your beta? How many do you have on ice?

I asked the RE the same thing and it could be from the donor sperm (he's proven, age around 35, from Denmark).

I just did a POAS this afternoon, 6dp5dt and it's positive!!!

I took a blood test today and just found out my beta is 36, which is good for 6 days past 5 day transfer! I do a second one on Thursday. I'll keep you posted! I'm happy!

Oh thank goodness for all of you!! I just asked for the first time last Friday and I got the standard line like all of you. I was starting to worry but now feel great to know that is standard practice - phew!!! My donor should be triggered any day this week:-)
