I am new to this group and also new to DE. i have been in this fertility roller coaster for a little over a year. i have done 4 iui's which resulted in 2 chemical pregnancies. 1 failed IVF and one recent micarriage from natural pregnancy. we have decided to move on to DE because we cant take the financial risk of IVF with my own eggs.I am now with dr Rosenwaks at Cornell. can anyone please tell me how long they have waited for a donor match. they have told me anywhere from 6 months up to a year. i just finished my mock cycle at beginning of this week so i am officially on active wait list:) hoping and praying its not a year!

I don't know anything about Cornell, but if you don't want to wait that long there are places where you can get frozen donor eggs. One of them is Donor Egg Bank USA, https://www.donoreggbankusa.com/ , but you have to go to a clinic that they work with. There are many clinics they work with throughout the country. They even have a plan that if you don't get preggo within 6 tries, you get your money back.

They give you photos and all medical background/history of donor. All you do is choose the donor.They will email the forms. You sign and get them notarized and email them back. Then you wire the money. Within a week they send the eggs to your clinic and you can schedule the transfer with your clinic anytime. You don't have to wait to sync cycles with a donor. I got pregnant twice with frozen donor eggs.

I went to Cornell for my first 3 IUIs, and 3IVFs non donor, I switched to Columbia for insurance purposes and did 2 more IVFs and 1 IUI. Columbia said their wait was 4-7 mnths compared to a year at Cornell, however I just trusted Cornell more
They are one if the top fertlity clinics
They say a year but usually takes less time. because they don't want to lead anyone on
It took me 7 months but my cycle was cancelled 2 days before transfer due to low egg production in the donors part
Once they cancel you go straight to the top of the list and I got matched under 3 weeks
I have 14 month old twins : )

I have friends that go to Cornell and I know they waited under a year (maybe 6 months?) for a match. Cornell also just started a frozen egg bank so you may want to ask about that as well. Good luck!
