Hi Ladies,
I hope everyone has been doing well. I haven't been on much lately but you are all always in my thoughts and prayers. I was wondering if anyone did Acupuncture for their IVF w/ DE. I know a lot of people that suggest it for IVF in general but I'm not sure if that is for the eggs? Obviously, I don't care what it does for my eggs at this point since we are doing DE but I just thought maybe it would give me a better overall feeling of wellness. Any thoughts? I guess I'm just wondering if I'm wasting my money......and we don't have a lot to spare after all of this.

I did! It was great- if nothing else, it relaxed me. i did it right before and after my transfer. They say it can bring more blood flow to the uterus and helps build your lining. In the past I did it for several weeks before (when we were using our eggs) but just did it twice when we did DE. Saved us money but I still felt like I was doing something. Good luck!!

I did acupuncture for my DE cycle and I did get a BFP. I went right after the transfer but I had been going all along. It did make me much more relaxed and stress free....

I did for both cycles.. before and after. I really enjoyed it and do believe it helped... like the others have said, it was totally relaxing!

I have done cycles with and without - I didn't really see any difference in my lining from doing it or not. I am currently pregnant with twins from a cycle where I did not do acupuncture. So, if money is no object, then I'd say yes, do it, it can be relaxing and nice - but I don't think it is absolutely necessary.

I did acupuncture w/ 3 of my IVF cycles with my own eggs and they didn't work (all BFNs). I didn't do it for my DE IVF cycle and that one worked. I did enjoy the feeling of relaxation that came with the acupuncture, but it was quite pricey.

Acupuncture worked out for a friend of mine who had 1st time success with IVF clinic in Gdansk.
