I've been dealing with the issue of being diagnosed with DOR at the age of 27. My hubby and I have chosen our egg donor and I start BCP's next week.
Although I am completely at peace with our decision, I've been wondering for a while now if taking accutane could have possible caused this problem. I haven't talked to my doctor about it yet to find out if they have any data on this. I took accutane for 4 months ten years ago. If it is so dangerous for a pregnancy and will cause birth defects, could it possibly have killed off my eggs?
I'm wondering if anyone else who has been diagnosed with DOR or Premature Ovarian Failure ever took the drug accutane used to treat acne.

They refuse to add infertility as a side effect, but they have no problem adding suicide as a side effect even though there is no real research to link. However there has been more studies addressing Isotretinoin and DOR and even male sterility. This drug has damaged so many people's lives and it doesn't even cure acne.
