Everyone - please have your stool checked for food allergies. After seeing a plethora of doctors and unable to eat, this test discovered I was gluten sensitive (94 out of 100). I also went on jeni patel thompsons diet who suffered herself for years. Took quite a while to calm the gut inflammation, but well worth it. I recall how miserable I was, the pain, anxiety and fear - all to well. It angers me that my docs told me I had to live with it while given a checklist of every food that I had to go without for 2 weeks, then reintroduce it. Going GF wasn't easy, but am no longer in pain. Best of luck.

@ Free: I have that too. In my case it may be from stress causing-acid-causing-irritation, because eating tons of bread helps. I need to try a strong anti-acid and see if that fixes it without making me itchy. Lots of meds make me itchy. Even an anti-itch med. prescribed by my doctor made me itch!

@ Gigi: I'm glad you mentioned the stool check. A lot of doctors don't use it, but it saved my life. I had such severe leaky gut (intestinal dysbiosis) that gut poison exudates were building up under my skin 24/7. I lived in the bathroom the first year, because of the exudates, and went on SSI. The stool test revealed I had 0 friendly bacteria in my gut, and high levels of bad bacteria.
