Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.
Talk to your doctors about your worries and make them understand how you feel. Good luck and keep us posted.
It usually is common, as far as I know, to feel chills and hot with diarrhea when your body is dealing with an infectious agent, such as food poisoning or parasites. Have you been tested for parasites? They are pretty common, especially if we are run down. I'm not sure but IBS/colitis might possibly produce chills but I am not sure.
Regarding your husband, coenzyme Q10 and magnesium can really benefit people with heart problems. Again I would try to get him to go to a naturopath. When people take statin drugs, for example, it depletes coenzyme q10 in the body and it is necessary to replace it. CoQ10 is vital for heart health. His doctor probably won't mention that. I have Mitral Valve prolapse and my father had cardiomyopathy so I looked into this. Hawthorn is also helpful. Don't listen to doctors being negative!
Good luck! Take care.
