Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.
Hi everyone,
I woke this morning with some tenderness on the right side of my abomen below the belly button. I tried something my naturopath suggested and have some relief.
You'll need: Castor Oil, pure cotton fabric cut to size for the area of the pain, and a heat pack of some kind (hot water bottle would do) and a piece of plastic or a plastic bag.
You warm the oil and place it on the fabric ( I cut up an old cotton tea towel). Place some plastic over that to prevent the oil staining you wheat bag. Heat you wheat bag or hot water bottle. Place the fabric with oil on the sore area and cover with plastic and heat pack. Leave this on for 30 minutes. It helps draw the toxins out. I don't know how long I'll have relief but will keep you posted. It works better than the heat alone. Or it did with me.

It worked well for that pain. I'm trying it this morning for a gastritis reaction with little success. The pains are different and I didn't really expect a result but thought I'd try it. Anything that's drug free for me.
