Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.
hey everyone!
so i saw my primary care yesterday at the VA and complained about my ibs flares lately and she said that there is this new medicine that treats ibs, it's the name above. now i don't know if this is new anywhere else than the VA but i'm so happy to get something! so i took some yesterday at lunch and sure enough i crapped this mornin with NO pain or cramps or bloating and no stomach pain!!! it was smooth goin out and before and after i felt NO PAIN!!! i hope this is the answer and it stays this way. has anyone else tried this stuff and how has it worked for you?

I also have endometriosis and am having surgery to find out if my bowel is involved. If so, maybe it's not Miralax that stopped working but my colon. ;)
