Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

Can IBS cause mouth sores/canker sores? Along with frequent stomach pain?

Anyone have similar symptoms? Could this also have anything to do with fibromyalgia?

Any feedback appreciated. thanks

If you have the option of seeing a GI doctor, it may be worth checking into. IBS does not normally cause moth sores, in my personal experience, but there are other GI conditions that can. Stomach pain also is a pretty broad spectrum symptomatically.

You should see your GI (if you have one).
People with Ulcerative Colitis generally get sores in their mouth.
Do you experience any bleeding when going to the bathroom?

When I was diagnosed with UC, I had sores in my mouth as well. Just a thought. Could be something more. Or it could be nothing at all.

Sounds like to much acid, acid reflux. I would check with a gastrologist and she/he can do an endoscopy and check you out.

Or try an OTC acid reducer, eliminate acids and carbonated beverages and caffeine and see if that helps.
