Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

So basicly I've had all my tests, endoscopys, biopsys, blood tests etc, but I can't get my ex ray in time (i'm moving countries in a few weeks).
My doctor won't help me with my IBS or give me IBS seeing as there is a slight chance somethin might show up on the X-ray, so I'm going to have to do this all myself.
I don't know anything about IBS, where do I start? I want to get better, I'm so ill, but I have no idea what to do.
My only symptoms are;
Vomiting
Nausea
Joint pain
and pains which I have been told are probably osophegous (sp?!) spasms.
Can anybody help me? Or be my friend on here to help me get through this?

I am sorry for your pain and anxiety of not knowing what all the results of your tests will confirm. I am no diagnostian but it sounds like you have more upper GI problems rather than IBS and with joint pains that could be the result of another condition. Hang in there, I think your dr. will be able to prescribe some antispamotics or antiinflammatory meds if necessary.

sleepykitten do you have fatigue. What you are describing sounds like adrenal insufficiency. Have you had your cortisol checked? Cortisol is a major hormone and without it you cannot survive. When I was getting really bad the abdominal problems and digestive problems showed up. I even had a CT scan and only a fatty liver showed up. Later after almost going into adrenal crisis a couple of times I was finally diagnosed. Ask your doctor if he would be so kind as to check your cortisol. Good luck I happy to be your friend.

This is not medical advise but I do have Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency. It's a serious medical condition and I got it from mold exposure.

sonds more like gerd than ibs google gerd and see how your symtoms compare. my son sufers this but has since recovered after taking meds from doc.
