Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.
Has any have a bowel obstruction? If so how did have you gotten back to normal? I feel like my life will never be the same.
I have never been the same since the surgery. I've talked with nurses who had the same thing done and they told me I NEVER would be the same. Now I have IBS and Gastritis.
Small bowel resection is no laughing matter. It is a huge surgery. They can't help but cut into nerves and through tissue etc. I really hope you get along better than I did.
