Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

For me, the worst part is the prep the day before (cleaning out the colon).
I was out (put in a twilight sleep) so I don't remember anything about either test.
Ask your Doctor if you will be asleep for both tests. Sometimes it depends on your insurance coverage.
If you are asleep during the tests, then it's No Big Deal.
Big Hugs and good luck!!
No worries and Good luck....
A few things that I found really worked well for me were to arrange the bathroom for my comfort in advance. I had a scented candle, a lap blanket for when I would get chilled and brought my laptop in to play music or to watch tv/videos. Additionally, taking a bath about an half-hour after I started the medicine really helped me to relax.
The day of the procedure, try to wear comfy clothes and if you have someone who can do it, bringing a person along to write down anything the doctor says can be really helpful later. Especially since you will probably be pretty sleepy the rest of the day.
Good luck, best wishes and try not to worry!
