Hi, I'm very nervous about going to the urologist tomorrow. I wasn't able to get in to the doctor I saw before until Aug.1st and they referred me to a new doctor. She is female which might be better and more understanding of how women feel. I have had a bladder infection since July 1st and am on the second round of antibiotics. My symptoms are frequent urination, pain in my bladder( the most troubling one) and some burning, though not as much.

I have not be dx with IC my last problem like this was almost two years ago and this just seemed to come out of the blue. I wonder if I can go back to my first doctor if I'm not happy with this one.

I'm wondering what kind of tests to expect, I know this is a hard to answer question, I'm just so worried almost in a panic attack mode.
