Hi ladies- I have been getting weekly nerve blocks for a while now, well I have noticed each time I bleed a little more than the time before, anyways I had a scare, well it scared me anyway the doctor didn't seem to act like it was a big deal. Anyways, he did the one side and says you are going to bleed this time and I said well, I did the last time too and he said ok. As he did the second one I lifted up off the table, and then told him it was burning, once he was done he tells the nurse to get pads and then I hear dripping, he puts pressure on me, then he tells me to lift up and then puts this pad thing under me, then he put in a tampon. They helped me sit up, told me to sit for a while and as I sat up I looked down and saw the nurse cleaning blood up off the floor, then he asks how I am and I said lightheaded, he said just sit for a few minutes and you will be ok, when he was done going over other things with me he handed me a pad and told me to leave the tampon in and let the nurse practitioner take it out when she does the other stuff. When I stood up I felt like a head rush and then looked down at where I had been sitting, the pad was covered in blood and I could see where it had dripped down, I spent the night hardly able to walk, could not lift my legs up on or off the sofa, today is about the same, I am sitting on a heating pad, I feel like I have been stabbed between the legs and like I have stitches down there. Anyways, has anyone else had nerve blocks and had this happen? Or has anyone ever heard of this happening? Any advice or answers would be great, Thank you!
