Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Support Group
Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.

Hi everyone,
It is extremely important that you get tested for Lyme Disease. I got my results back yesterday, and unfortunately, I don't have it --- but you might. It is curable so obviously preferable to IC.
I know that some of you have felt BETTER on antibiotics, while most of us regard them as the cause of one of the worst possible flares ever. For those who have felt better on them --- there's even a higher likelihood that you have it. It is in Canada, it is in the U.S. It does get mistaken and misdiagnosed as IC.
These are the symptoms:
PRINT AND CIRCLE ALL YES ANSWERS ( 20 yes represents a serious potential and Lyme should be included in diagnostic workup )
