Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Support Group

Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.

Does anyone here have IC and Sjogrens? Anything work for you for bladder spasms?

I'll have to look up Sjogrens. What have you tried for your spasms? Pyridium, Urelle, or Uribel? Many people with fibromyalgia symptoms have IC, also.
What is it about Sjogrens that would be conflicting with IC medications for you? Are you taking any med for the Sjogrens that seems to trigger the IC? Many doctors need to be updated about IC and other commonly prescribed meds. Some allergy meds will set it off, for instance.
