Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.
Hello Ladies
I have been turned onto a new helping agent it is called Cramp 911 you can find it at Walgreens, CVS, and online. You roll it on where the pain is and then rub it in, it helps to calm the muscle spasms, I have noticed if I use it and then the heating pad it seems to help, it also helps on its own though too. Anyways just wanted to share this in hopes it can help any of you too, like I said it helps calm the spasms and on days it isn't as severe can knock the spasms completely. Hope it can help someone else too, even if only a little like me....Big hugs to all of you!!!

I also have a bad habit of laying on my heating pad when my back is acting up...I have red blotches that do eventually fade, and that is just from the heat!
