I met my boyfriend two years ago he is half black and half Japaneses! I was not sure how I could have made such a change but he stole my heart in a different way. We loved music and he would sing karaoke with me. He had a career and goals. There are things that I have to get use to but I think my favorite thing has been the food! He has such culture and I have never been with anyone so open to trying different things! I mean I am the nub here but I have loved that I have someone that wants to eat a whole fried fish brain! (I know I probably lost you know) LOL but it has been so amazing that I honestly don't even think about anyone else but him! I am happy and if others can't except that then they need to check themselves.
Surround yourself with people who love and accept you and your partner for who you both are. Obviously speak to your family about it but if they can't accept your relationship then that's their problem, make a life for yourself with this guy and may you have many more happy years together
I am utterly head over heels in love with this man. I know who he is, inside and out, and he is the most beautiful man, with an amazing soul.
Past relationships that I have been in, have been abusive, destructive, or just down right toxic. I would think my family would just be happy to see me in a good, healthy relationship with a man who adores me. Sadly, skin color is all they see.
I see a life, a future with him. My family doesn't have to like it....but to be apart of my life, and my childrens lives...they will need to accept it. Thank you for the responses!
