Thats what makes me so mad, just cuz there are those that do doesn't mean that WE ALL DO! So my advice, find you someone who cares about you and look past the color of skin. WHITE, BLACK, YELLOW, RED, PURPLE, GREEN, or even a wonderful shade of Orange. It doesn't matter the color it matters the personality and the person.

I'm not saying all white women do but I'm just saying I thought interracial was different races dating eachother right? So why are some people more comfortable with their daughters dating mexican guys over black guys?

One Word, Ignorance. If my daughters wanted to date a different race it would not a diff for me what color they were. As long as they were treated right. I just don't see anyone wasting their time on someone who does not respect them. My stepdaughter is currently dating and expecting with a black man. The last guy she dated was also black and treated her awful. But so had other guys of other races. Her mom was not happy that she chose again to date a black guy but i am happy for her because he respects her ahs has taken her out of the mess she was in before. It is ALL about Happiness. and as for why some rather their daughter date one color over another we will never know until we are all educated and get rid of the ignorace in the world. If everyone was color blind the world would be a better place.

Hey, I was intrigued by this journal entry and I just need to make a few things a little clearer. I am a white woman who is living with a black man and is the mother of a bi-racial child who I adopted 7 months ago. Well I was also adopted and my adoptive parents have VERY different views than I do. They have not been able to support anything I choose to do in life. EVER! Anyways I was living in my car for 8 months before this cop found me. He offered me a place to stay till I could get on my feet. Well since then he has respected me so much it was all to difficult to not love him. So we became a couple and I became the mother to his son. When my parents found out that I was no longer living in my car however I was living with a man and not just any man but a BLACK man, lol, they did not aprove. Well I did not care anymore. I was safe and secure and HAPPY for the first time in my life I felt as if I had purpose. I told them I was not going to sacrifice MY happiness for theirs. I did that once before in High School, and I refused to do it again. I am tired of asking myself the what ifs. Anyways I am happy. I am familyless outside of my son and has father. However it is sooooo worth it. I gave up way more than just my family, my church family did not aprove either, so with this relationship came with a ton of sacrifices.
All you need to do is find a woman regardless of color that will meet you half way. I dont even like the 50/50 phrase it should be 100/100 because when its 50/50 that leaves room for someone else. Anyways she cheated on you. That is not worth the fight. Find someone who is going to love and respect YOU for who you are! You deserve nothing less than MUTURAL love AND respect!!
Dont settle for less just to be temporary satisfied and then end up hurt in the long run. You are better than that and so much more precious than that! However dont cut out the entire white population all because of one experience :) ((HUGS TO YOU!!))

I am sorry her parents said such a hurtful thing to you. That is wrong & there is no "reasonable" answer to your question. I have been married for 10 years to a Belizean (black) man & I am white. We have 2 young kids & live a normal & happy life with an extended family on both sides that love & except us both. Everybody deserves love and acceptance...if you are not getting that you need to remove yourself from the situation. People should want to be with people that build them up regardless of the color of their skin. Best of luck.

this interests me because i am a white girl and have been in a 10 yr relationship with my baby daddy who is black. i have NEVER cheated on him. and i sum up cheating as talking, texting, touching, and sex with anyone. what interest me is that i think alot of black guys have that view of white girls that we are sluts and hoes and not only them but their family members as well. when i first met his family i was not accepted i was looked at like i wasnt shit just some fast ass girl lookin for some black d#*k. but in all the years we have been together and all the shit i put up with from him i have earned my badges i guess u could say and i am respected now by his family, i now feel more apart of them than my own family. its a bad rap we have but its not true at all. my advice would be not to rule out a whole race because of a few bad apples

white people consider mexican heritage as part of the white race. Dont date anyone who screws around with other guys regardless of their race. duh
