Hi Everyone, hope you are having a great day


When i was growing up in the UK during the 80's and 90's the majority of interracial couples i saw were Black Men and White Women, fast forward 20 or so years and the combination of Black Women and White men are catching up.


So what has changed? are more Black women and white men open to dating outside of their race to find love, or have they been dating for years and is why it has become more evident as time has gone on.


Has Social media helped in playing a part to encourage Black Women and White men to get together by creating groups where couples can express their beautiful interracial love.

Black women dating white men has gone back throughout history. Although because back then it was illegal for a white man to date a black woman you really didn't see it much, but it did happen. If you have time watch the movie "Lovely" based on a true story of an interracial relationship between a black woman and a white man. It is a good movie but disturbing at the same time.

I myself am a black woman and have interracial children with a white man. I do get looks at times but it really doesn't matter to me because I don't see a "white" man I see a person who loves me regardless of the color of my skin.
