Are you both young and just beginning to have a taste of independence? Don't let him make you feel that you should say you are sorry. I would bet you have nothing to be sorry for. I'm quite a bit older and have been through relationships where I was made to feel less than worthy of the man. All false, all intended to make me feel bad about myself and do more for him.
It's best not to keep count of what a person does for the other and not accuse another.
Love that is shared is all about giving without keeping score. When two people love each other and care, both are satisfied and not made to feel inadequate.
I think they want to know we think of them often and appreciate them. Last thing either person in a relationship wants to do is feel they are being taken for granted.
