Good luck to you.
I'm very sensitive to all meds and even though Melatonin helps me sleep, I don't sleep through the night. Even if I do, I wake up groggy/a bit hungover from it.
Part of the problem (I'm guessing) is when I take it, I have these all-night full-color high-production dreams. It's like my mind doesn't shut off the whole time I'm sleeping.
It seems as if all the "studies" on Melatonin were done on people who have to be up early the next morning once every six months or so (as opposed to studies being done on people who have long-term insomnia). So if lack of sleep is due to anxiety, Melatonin does little or nothing.
