A real medical doctor is going to have testing done on the patient. Blood work first, then an ultrasound at the very least and often an MRI or CT. Depending on what disease one has, there can be effective treatments and there can also be no effective treatment. You should be given a copy of the test result, whether blood work or the imaging results after it is done by the radiologist. Read that report and google the terms you don't understand.
I also do natural medicine and I have liver issues. There are herbs that can potentially help the liver, when my liver is annoyed by my stress I will use my herbs. If you drink alcohol and have a diagnosis of cirrhosis of the liver, then no longer drinking alcohol is mandatory, for example. I have heard of a gallbladder not working so great to pump out the bile and it being called "sludge" or "gallstones" but that is a different thing than you mention. And has to be diagnosed by medical imaging testing.
Will any treatment for your kidney or liver help your insomnia, maybe or maybe not. Sometimes the insomnia is caused by a brain health disorder, or physical pain, or menopause, or stress, or worry, or sleep apnea, a bad mattress, a noisy house or neighborhood, etc.
