My take is this is very individual, and should involve relaxation. What you don't want is to get stressed out about your pre-bed relaxation routine.
So really whatever you want that you find relaxing. Taking a warm bath, reading something enjoyable, getting your clothes ready for the morning.
Personally, I like watching old Seinfeld reruns in bed, as they're so mindlessly entertaining. Some experts though say don't watch TV before bed or limit any sort of screen time as it can disrupt sleep. Doesn't for me.
The idea is to just allow yourself to transition naturally to a relaxed state conducive to sleep.
