There are many, many other ways. Previously mentioned gross physical impact activity, like punching or kicking the big heavy cylindrical punching bag. Especially good at relieving stress.
Of course one of the best ways is to understand stress is really more of how we react to perceived stressful events rather than the events themselves. Our reactions are something we can control.
But I have an idea that as you settle into your school lifestyle you will be so busy during the day that you will naturally start sleeping better at night. Just try to keep your regular sleep-wake schedule best you can to help regulate and synchronize your circadian rhythm and sleep drive. And don't worry if you have a restless night now and then. No one sleeps perfect all the time. You'll be fine.
