CBT enables you to address the excessive worry many insomniacs have about the idea of sleep, as well as establish good sleep supportive habits as part of your lifestyle.
In fact, even if you have an underlying medical issue, it wouldn't be surprising if you also have some overlap with nonmedical issues, so CBT may be very helpful for you.
